Hi. I’m Martina.

I help purpose-driven people and organisations reach their potential. I can help you design great projects, evaluate your impact, and tell your stakeholders all about it.

I specialise in grant writing and evaluation. I also teach grant writing to grant seekers and aspiring freelance grant writers.

Let’s start a conversation about what you need.

Evaluation

You know you need to evaluate your program, service, project or impact. But where do you even start?

You know that evaluation has the potential to clarify your impact, improve delivery, and find the ways that you’re really changing lives. But you don’t really know how to do that, what methods to use, or really even have the time to figure it out.

I can help.

I help small and medium organisations develop evaluation approaches that are high-rigour but low-resource, meaning you don’t have to spend a lot to get a lot out of it. I work flexibly in a way that suits you and your budget, and I care about your outcomes (just like you do!).

My specialties are qualitative methods, systems approaches, connecting theory to practice, and stakeholder engagement, especially with rural communities. I can work solo, or I can assemble a team of other independent evaluators, bringing a wide range of skills. I also subcontract to other evaluators.

Grant writing

You’ve got an opportunity to apply for a grant. Great!!

Now what?

You’ve got some choices. Do you DIY and tackle the grant application yourself? Do you call in an expert to take over? Do you need an editor and reviewer to help you along the way?

Whatever approach suits you, I can help.

I’ve won over $30m for my clients over the last 10 years, and I can help you, too. My approach to grant writing is constructive, confidence-building and practical – I can show you what to do, or I can take it off your hands and do it for you.

Send me an email, and let’s chat about your grant opportunities, and the next steps that suit you.

Coaching and support

You know you can do it, but you need some guidance.

All my services are available on a done-for-you or done-with-you basis.

I can help you build your grant writing and evaluation skillset, develop strategies that suit your way or working, and do capacity building sessions with your team.

We can work 1:1, or I can set up group calls, masterclasses and workshops with your team.

Send me an email, and let’s start a conversation.

How I work

I’m a values-driven person who cares about my work – and yours. I work on projects that help people, and I aim to help people and organisations maximise their positive impact.

I’m also good at explaining stuff. I love a random metaphor. It’s important to me that people understand both what we’re doing and why we’re doing it.

Flexibility is essential to what I do, and I strive to offer you flexibility in how we work together. I’m available after hours and on weekends if that’s what you need, and I have a range of approaches that might suit you.
