Even if you don’t win the funding, you’ll get value from working with me
Grant funding is a complex process, and I can’t guarantee that you will receive funding. That would be unethical. (And it’s just one of the many reasons I suggest you shouldn’t pay a grant writer on commission.)
There’s so much that goes into the final funding decision, and many of these things are out of our control, including:
> the quality and experience of other applicants
> how well your idea compares, or whether someone else pitched a similar idea
> delays, changes to policy
> whims of the decision-maker, including political issues.
Even with a brilliant proposal, some days you’ll still come in second – and that’s ok. Each experience strengthens your next effort.
While I can promise to craft a compelling, robust and thoroughly professional proposal that gives your project its absolute best chance of success, I can’t promise you’ll win.
But I can guarantee that, regardless of the proposal outcome, you’ll get value from working with me.
